At Beyond the Grade, in addition to subject support, our specialists focus on executive functioning, self advocacy, respect, patience and personal growth. These practical, real world skills will benefit the students far beyond the classroom and will set a foundation for true success in life. Mash DeRonde & Co-Founder of Go Beyond the Grade: Growing up in Holland has afforded Mash a unique perspective of the world and education. At age eighteen, Mash moved to Orange County where she attended UC Irvine and graduated with a Bachelors in psychology. Mash then went on to obtain her Masters in Educational Psychology and Post Masters in School Psychology. Since 2006 Mash has worked in a variety of fields with children, including behavioral therapy, educational therapy and as a school psychologist.
Allen DeRonde & Co-Founder Of Go Beyond The Grade: A California native, Allen graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2008. He then moved to San Diego where he received his law degree from California Western School of Law. After passing the California State BAR in 2013, Allen moved to Los Angeles and began working as a transactional attorney in the entertainment industry. However, following his passion, Allen has primarily dedicated the last five years to his educational company. Allen specializes in reading, writing, history and self advocacy.
